Before my son was born I used to offer writing retreats for individuals or small groups but the house that I used is now rented out as retreats no longer became possible. Now he is thirteen and almost grown up, I can offer a studio with a small double bed and sofa bed, toilet, shower and a small kitchen). It is available to anyone who would like to come and spend some time up in the mountains, either to do some writing or just to chill out.

I would be happy, in return, if you would help out 2-3 hours a day with the ponies and the garden. A car is recommended if staying for more than three days, but I can also lend you an electric bike.

If you would like guidance or tuition with writing that would also be possible. You would also be welcome to attend the writing workshops in Monchique.
